Terms & Conditions

Last updated September 2026

These Terms explain how Electric Monsters works as a project and as software. They are meant to be serious enough to rely on, written in human language, and honest about what this is — and is not.

About Electric Monsters

Electric Monsters is a motorcycle culture and identity project: concepts, storytelling, a marketing website, and a Companion app for community features such as profiles, chat, galleries, rides, and events. The public face and contact address is info@electric-monsters.com.

Private project status

Electric Monsters is not a registered company. There is no CVR, no ApS, and no corporate registered office. The person behind the project is Jakob Rohde Gellett, running it as a private individual. Do not invent other officers, boards, or subsidiaries — there are none listed because they do not exist here.

Not a conventional shop

This is not a conventional webshop checkout for production motorcycles. Nothing on the website or in the Companion is, by itself, a binding offer to sell you a finished electric chopper or merchandise unless a separate, explicit purchase agreement says so. Do not send money for imaginary motorcycles. Concepts, renders, specs, and “coming later” ideas are part of the creative project, not an invoice.

Fiction, concepts, and AI material

Some material you see may be fiction, early concepts, placeholders, or AI-assisted drafts. Visuals and copy can change. Treat concept bikes and story elements as creative work unless clearly labelled as a real product you can buy under a separate agreement. Concepts are not products; browsing a concept is not buying a motorcycle.

Separate from the in-app Mr. Jakob (AI) feature: AI tools have also been used as assistants in building and writing around this project — including ChatGPT, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, GrokBot, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini. Those build/writing tools are tools. They are not legal representatives of Electric Monsters and they do not sign contracts for Jakob. Mr. Jakob (AI) in the App uses the OpenAI API for replies (a different thing from those build/writing assistants).

Named Inner Circle characters and the Mr Jakob AI persona are covered in their own sections below so real humans, fictional cast, and AI are not mixed up.

Human responsibility

Jakob maintains these pages and the service in good faith. Software has bugs. Laws change. Mistakes happen. That is not a shrug and a walk-away; it is a promise to keep maintaining things seriously and to fix errors when they are pointed out. See also If something here is wrong.

Website information

The marketing website presents the project, download entry points, and contact options. Information may be incomplete or change during development. Contact forms may collect name, email, optional phone, and a message so Jakob can reply.

The Companion app

The Companion is a community and identity app for Monsters: accounts, profiles, garage and gallery features, chat and moments, rides, events, check-ins, QR / scan-meets, Journey milestones, and related tools. Features may appear, change, or pause as the project evolves. Availability is not a warranty of uninterrupted uptime.

Accounts and Monster IDs

Creating an account requires accurate basics (such as a working email), a password you keep secret, and acceptance of these Terms plus acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy. Your Monster ID is part of your identity in the Pack — treat it as a lasting label, not a disposable username for trolling.

You are responsible for activity under your account. If you think someone else has access, change your password if you can and email info@electric-monsters.com.

There is currently no self-service account deletion in the app. To request deletion, email the same address. Gallery reporting exists for content; full account removal is manual.

Age requirement (18+)

Electric Monsters is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create a Monster account and to use the Companion app. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older. If Jakob becomes aware that an account belongs to someone under 18, the account may be suspended or removed.

Do not use the service to post, solicit, or share sexual content involving minors. That is forbidden and will be treated as a serious breach.

Community content

You keep rights to content you create, but you grant Electric Monsters permission to host, display, and process it as needed to run the service (profiles, galleries, chat, events, rides, and so on). Across photos, avatars, chat and moments, bios, garage entries, events, and rides: you are responsible for what you publish under your Monster.

Photos and gallery

Gallery photos and avatars are user-uploaded. Upload only what you have the right to share. Photos of identifiable people can be personal data — you are responsible for having a good reason to share them (for example permission). Electric Monsters does not pre-approve every upload. Use Gallery Report in the app when something in the gallery needs a human look, or email info@electric-monsters.com.

Chat and moments

Chat, moments, and reactions are community conversation tools. A dedicated in-app Chat Report button is not built yet. For chat or other non-gallery content that needs review, email info@electric-monsters.com with context. Do not treat chat as encrypted private counsel or as a customer-service desk.

Rides, events, check-ins, and QR

Rides and events in the Companion are community coordination tools. Electric Monsters provides the platform features (listing, joining, check-ins, QR / scan-meets, and related UI). When a Monster organises a ride or event, that user is the organiser — not Jakob and not a professional tour operator by default. The platform is not an insured tour package, not an emergency service, and not a promise that every meetup will be perfectly planned or staffed.

Follow traffic law and common sense in the real world. QR / scan-meets and check-ins are for connecting Monsters — not for tricking people into unsafe situations.

User-uploaded content

Your photo is yours — until you upload it into a shared space, where other Monsters can see it and where the project has to host it to make the feature work. The uploader is responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to share that content (including permission from identifiable people where that matters).

Electric Monsters does not pre-approve every upload. We do not have a person sitting in a dark room approving every photograph, bio line, or garage note before it appears. The project also does not guarantee that user-uploaded content is accurate, lawful, appropriate, or owned by the person who uploaded it.

When Jakob becomes aware of content that appears illegal, infringing, abusive, privacy-invasive, or seriously inappropriate, it may be reviewed and then removed, restricted, or otherwise limited. Awareness often comes from reports. Use the in-app Gallery Report where that tool exists, or email info@electric-monsters.com for gallery items and for other content (chat, profiles, events, and similar) that needs a human look. Reports are reviewed; automatic removal is not promised, and not every report will be accepted exactly as filed.

None of this means the project washes its hands of user content. Jakob takes reasonable steps when problems are known and keeps the community workable. It also does not mean Electric Monsters becomes the author or insurer of everything every Monster posts.

Notices, reports, and Digital Services Act note

Electric Monsters hosts user-generated content (profiles, galleries, chat, events, and similar) that users upload or post. In EU terms, the project is likely acting as a hosting intermediary for that UGC — storing information provided by users, at their request, rather than creating that content itself. This is a careful, good-faith framing of how the product works today. It is not a claim of full Digital Services Act (DSA) compliance certification, not a lawyer sign-off, and not a statement that every DSA duty has already been mapped and closed.

Contact point for users and for authorities on these issues: info@electric-monsters.com.

Notice-and-action: When Jakob becomes aware of illegal or seriously problematic content — often through Gallery Report or email — it may be reviewed and then removed, restricted, or otherwise limited. Awareness matters; there is no claim of pre-screening every upload. Where access is restricted, Jakob aims to give a reasoned explanation when that is practical (what was limited and why), without inventing a large trust-and-safety bureaucracy that does not exist.

For review (professional Digst / counsel): Formal DSA classification, process documentation, and any Digst (Danish Business Authority) related obligations for online platforms should be reviewed by a professional as the project matures. Do not treat this section as certified compliance.

Fictional characters (Inner Circle)

Fuse, Torque, Riot, Switch, Nox, and other Inner Circle characters are fictional / project-created. Their names, Monster IDs, bios, photos, garages, and chat presence may be invented or AI-assisted. Appearance in the Companion does not mean they are real human members of the Pack. Any resemblance to real people is coincidental unless something is explicitly stated otherwise.

Mr. Jakob (AI)

Mr. Jakob (AI) is an AI-based conversational chatbot operated as part of the Electric Monsters App. It uses the OpenAI API to generate conversational responses. It is an AI persona — not the real human Jakob Rohde Gellett, not an employee, not a lawyer or adviser, not a customer-service desk, and not an authorised spokesperson. It may be inaccurate or invent details. Treat it as a product feature, not as a human on the other end of a binding conversation.

In short: you message in the App → Electric Monsters servers handle the conversation → relevant content is sent to the OpenAI API → an AI reply comes back → the App shows it as Mr. Jakob (AI). Electric Monsters operates the feature; OpenAI is the underlying API provider, not the operator of this App. Full privacy detail — including that this may involve processing outside the EU/EEA — is in the Privacy Policy.

Do not confuse four different things: the Mr. Jakob (AI) persona, the OpenAI API, the Electric Monsters operator, and the human Jakob.

Conduct (summary)

Be a road friend. Disagreements are allowed; abuse is not. Do not post illegal content, sexual content involving minors, scams, malware, doxxing, or harassment. Do not impersonate other Monsters, fictional characters as if they were you in bad faith, or the project operators. Use reporting tools where they exist (including Gallery Report) or email info@.

Fuller community expectations live in the Community Guidelines, which form part of how these Terms are applied day to day.

Moderation and suspension

There is no invented moderation department. Jakob may remove content, limit features, suspend, or close accounts when needed to enforce these Terms, protect people, or keep the service workable. Reports via Gallery Report and email are the simple path in; review happens when a human can get to it. Decisions aim to be fair and will sometimes be imperfect. Appeal by email with specifics.

Brand, marks, and intellectual property

Electric Monsters™ is an unregistered mark used by Jakob in connection with the Electric Monsters project. It is not a registered Danish or EU trade mark. This site does not use a registered-mark symbol for Electric Monsters. Fuse™ may likewise be used as an unregistered mark for the mascot / character identity where that fits. A domain name is not the same thing as a trade-mark registration.

It helps to keep the layers separate:

  • Brand / name / mark — how the project identifies itself (including unregistered marks such as Electric Monsters™)
  • Logo artwork and Fuse mascot / character — visual identity and fictional character design
  • Copyright in concrete images and text — rights that may exist in specific human-made or selected works
  • Domain name — the web address, which is not itself a trade-mark registration
  • User-uploaded content — generally remains the uploader’s responsibility and rights, subject to the licence needed to run the service
  • Third-party material — belongs to its owners

For project branding, original human works, and other material where rights may exist, Electric Monsters claims and reserves all rights that it may have. The project does not claim that Jakob owns copyright in every AI-generated work simply because a tool was used.

Please do not copy the branding for competing commercial exploitation, pass the project off as yours, or impersonate Electric Monsters / Fuse / Inner Circle identities in a way that confuses people — without permission. Fair personal reference and ordinary sharing of your own Monster life in the app are not the problem; ripping off the identity is.

Third-party services

Hosting and email run through Simply.com (Denmark / EU). For Mr. Jakob (AI), Electric Monsters transmits relevant message content to the OpenAI API (api.openai.com) as a third-party provider — see the Privacy Policy. Other third-party processors are not invented on this page.

Privacy and cookies

Personal data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. Cookies and on-device storage (including EMSESSID, website localStorage, and sessionStorage) are described in Cookies & local storage.

Security, availability, and bugs

Reasonable care is taken for a small private project. Servers go down. Clients glitch. WebViews behave strangely. Please report security issues privately to info@ rather than turning them into a community sport. There is no invented insurance policy or uptime SLA in these Terms.

Future products and no purchase agreement here

Future hardware, merch, or paid services may appear someday. Until a clear purchase flow and agreement say otherwise, browsing concepts and using the Companion does not create a contract to buy a motorcycle. Again: do not send money for imaginary motorcycles.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as the project matures. The “Last updated” line will change. Material changes should be readable here; if something affects you strongly, email questions are welcome.

If something here is wrong

If you spot an error, an outdated technical fact, or wording that overclaims, please email info@electric-monsters.com. Good-faith corrections help everyone. This project would rather fix the text than defend a mistake.

Danish law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without building a fake exclusive court clause more precise than needed for a private project. For contact on legal, privacy, security, or corrections: info@electric-monsters.com.
